New Version of CCK

A new version of CCK (1.10) posted yesterday, so almost every site I have will be getting an update in the next day or two.  CCK is the backbone of Drupal, it has expanded how we create content types and develop complex websites.  Good thing I have a  compact and efficient scheme for updating all those sites!

AntiWarSalon.us

Like all my websites, AntiWarSalon.us got an update to Drupal 5.12 today.  No time today for any updates or improvements.  The only module to be updated is the Signup module.  This site is good to go for a while.

Wilbur.us

This morning I updated www.wilbur.us to Drupal 5.12.  I use my personal site as a test site for new modules and features, so today I installed the development versions of Backup and Migrate ver 2.X and Blog Info ver 2.X.  I'll give them a whirl and see what they offer.

Drupal 5.12

It's been a few weeks now, but I am still catching up on updating all of the websites I attend to Drupal 5.12.  Even with a good automated process, it takes about 15 minutes per site to update them with the new version of Drupal and all the module updates each site needs.

I should have been done with this earleier, but I took some time off and went on a hike to the bottom (and top) of the Grand Canyon.   In the end this will probably make me MORE productive since I will be able to work better when I am well rested.

Another New Website

Today's the first day of the new willince.com.  This has been my business website, and as a Drupal developer, it has been a poor example of my work.
